How this site makes money

Sites like this usually bury a line about affiliate links in a footer nobody reads. You are going to find out anyway, so here is the whole thing up front, in plain terms.

The one paid placement

KashKick is an affiliate partner. If you sign up through our link and complete offers on their platform, we are paid a commission. It costs you nothing extra. The commission comes out of KashKick's marketing budget, not your earnings.

It appears in three places, labeled every time:

• A card on the homepage with a header that says Sponsored.
• A "Sponsored" tag on its row in the index.
• Its detail panel, where the outbound button sits above a repeat of this disclosure.

Every outbound affiliate link on this site carries rel="sponsored nofollow", which is the machine-readable version of the same statement.

Why it ranks first, and how to check that

KashKick ranks #1 under the default Easiest to start sort. If you assumed we sold that spot, fair enough. Here is how to check.

That sort runs on a published formula with three inputs: difficulty, startup cost, and days to first payment. KashKick scores 96/100 because it costs $0, needs no skills or equipment, and pays out within days. Those numbers are real. The data file is a plain JavaScript object sent to your browser, so you can open it and check every figure yourself.

The build process for this site contains an assertion that fails the build if the sponsored entry does not win that sort outright on its own numbers. We put that there to keep ourselves honest. If KashKick's real numbers ever stop earning the top spot, the site does not build until either the data or the placement changes.

Rules we hold ourselves to

These are the commitments. If we break one, the corrections process below applies to us too.

1. Money never changes data. No commercial relationship affects any entry's startup cost, earnings range, difficulty rating, timing, flags, or position under any sort.
2. Paid placement is always labeled as paid. Not "partner", not "recommended": paid.
3. Sponsored entries get the same honesty as everything else. Including the unflattering parts. KashKick's entry says plainly that it will not replace an income.
4. No fake social proof. There are no testimonials, no review scores, no "as featured in" logos, and no invented user counts anywhere on this site. We do not have real ones, so we do not show any.
5. No income screenshots. Cherry-picked earnings screenshots are the oldest trick in this industry, and they tell you nothing about what you would make.
6. We will name the downside. Roughly a fifth of entries carry a warning flag: saturated, scam-adjacent, capital heavy, or irregular. That includes entries we could earn from.

What we do not do

• We do not sell a course, a coaching program, a mastermind, or a "system".
• We do not sell your data. There is no analytics script, no ad network, no tracking pixel, and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The filtering runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you search or click is sent anywhere.
• We do not accept payment to add an entry to the index, remove one, or change its numbers.
• We do not write "reviews" of products we are paid to promote and call them independent.

Other links

Entries throughout the index mention platforms by name (Upwork, Rover, eBay, Etsy, QuickBooks, and many others) because that is where the work actually is. Those are plain references, not affiliate links. We earn nothing from them.

If that changes, this page changes first, and the links get the same sponsored marking and the same visible labeling. We would rather tell you than have you find out.

Corrections

Numbers in this index will be wrong sometimes. Markets move, rates shift, and some of these figures are estimates about work we have not personally done.

If you find an error, send:

• The entry name.
• What the figure says, and what you think it should be.
• Roughly what you are basing that on: your own invoices, a rate card, a platform's published fees. You do not need to prove anything. Context is enough for us to go check.

Corrections from people who actually do the work carry the most weight. They are the most useful thing anyone sends us. Substantive changes update the review date on the homepage. If we get something badly wrong, we will say so here rather than quietly editing it.
